Too much confidence?? That’s total BS!

I was doing some research today and came across an article in Psychology Today where the author claims that having too much confidence is not always good:

Too much and you can come off as cocky and stumble into unforeseen obstacles when you overestimate your own abilities or fail to complete projects on deadline because you underestimate the time and effort they require.”

This kind of threw me back a little. And then I kind of got angry!

If you know me you know that I hate the “golden middle”, fitting in, not sticking out, playing safe… I believe that you cannot live a fulfilled, happy life if you are walking on the egg shells trying not to push anyone’s buttons, always trying to please everyone…

We are not meant to be average!!!!

Every single one of us is SPECIAL in our own unique way!

I want you to embrace your uniqueness and be freaking loud and obnoxious about it! Those who are self-secure and in love with themselves are going to either

1. like you and respect you or

2.they’ll move on because your energy is not compatible with theirs (and that’s ok, we don’t have to be liked by everyone or be friends with everyone).

Either way you’ll know where you stand with them, and you’ll both be better for it. Those who will try to put you down are just dissatisfied with their own lives and your confidence is irritating to them (because they want some-so send them to me lol).

My point is:

- be everything you want to be!

- Live your life to the fullest!

- Express your uniqueness!

- Be crazy about who you are and

- Love your life!

Don’t worry about what will others think about you. I can guarantee that you’ll be liked and appreciated more when you are 100% YOU. When you express your opinion, when you say loud and clear what you want and what you like. People admire those who are brave enough to be true and real. Many would want to be it but they are scared, so you being it just lights up their way.

And honestly, sometimes it’s just fun to watch people’s reactions when you do something unexpected that kind of breaks norms.

Have fun, that’s what you are here for!!!!
